Your child can celebrate their
birthday with their classmates. Please discuss any plans with your child’s
teacher. Again, no peanuts are permitted in the school. Please make sure
anything you bring doesn’t contain peanuts.

We also want to minimize the amount
of sugar children eat. If you bring a cake, we recommend a juice with no sugar
or no added sugar. And we discourage goodie bags loaded with candy.

There really isn’t a need for your
child to bring personal items (toys or jewelry) to school unless they are
having a show-and-tell in their classroom. We don’t want their things to be
broken or lost.
